Survival of the Fittest

Show up for your own battle, that is 50% victory! – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

Instincts are gut feelings. To survive, you must be daring enough to follow your gut feelings. It may be the most unreasonable thing to do but many times, it is the way to go. We survive mostly by instinct – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

“The Rich also cry,” they say and who says the “Poor does not also smile”? The truth is, none of us is Rich, none of us is Poor. Every riches come with its own poverty and every poverty comes with its own riches. The earlier we all realize this, the happier we will be – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

Survival of the fittestIf you don’t want to “miss your flight”, you must be willing to “face your fight” – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

None of us is exonerated from the many battles of life. We are all in the middle of the Beauty Contest, fighting for our own crown. Do not envy anybody! – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

Ironically, our “fitness test” can only be in battle. We don’t know how fit we are until we have been through our battles. Therefore, every day is a day to prepare for battle in prayers, in personal development, and in physical exercise – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

Our biggest challenge in battle is to conquer our own self first and foremost. Victory over the world is victory over yourself. If you can conquer yourself, every other battle will be a walkover – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

Show yourself how much you care about yourself, survive no matter what! People don’t really care so much about you until you survive – Femi Adediran, January 2022.

We don’t become fit primarily because we have prepared. We become fit because God will always show up for those who are prepared.

We must be spiritually fortified, mentally capable, and physically strong to at least be able to ATTEMPT the many battles of life. Pay attention to your spirit, pay attention to your soul and pay attention to your body. These three are your primary weapons in battles before anything else.

Even where it is obvious that “someone else” is responsible for your woes, accept the responsibility. Your battles are your battles regardless of who or what the cause is.

Battles may be personal. Victory is for all.

Ironically, our “fitness test” can only be in battle. We don’t know how fit we are until we have been through our battles. Therefore, every daySurvival of the fittest is a day to prepare for battle in prayers, in personal development, and in physical exercise.

Show yourself how much you care about yourself, survive no matter what! People don’t really care so much about you until you survive.

If you don’t want to “miss your flight”, you must be willing to “face your fight”.

David obviously doesn’t look right for the battle with Goliath but he was “prepared in practice” for a time like this. We only become fortunate when we are “prepared” for our opportunities. Be “consistent” in preparation, you never know when Goliath will show up.

Our battles are not so overwhelming, it’s just that we “suck” too many times in preparation.

God may be unpredictable but He is not unjust, He will always show up for the faithful (in the bush as David) and help fight the intimidating Goliath of life.

We don’t become fit primarily because we have prepared. We become fit because God will always show up for those who are prepared.

Make it a point of duty to get better spiritually, mentally, and physically daily. It’s a daily call to duty, essential duty

The practice may not necessarily make us perfect but it sure makes us ready.

Practice everything including your “walking style” when you become the CEO.

There is one thing that is constant after God, it is CHANGE. An attempt to fight change is an attempt to become crushed. The way to win is to take advantage of Change.

Until we are able to draw the line between flexibility and rigidity, we will never be able to fit into emerging opportunities. Flexibility is not weakness and rigidity does not necessarily connote firmness. Sometimes, the way to be rigid is to be flexible!

Those who survive are not necessarily those with the strongest muscle but those who are able to recognize their limitation and then go ahead and maximize their potential.

You are only fit at being you. You are only qualified in your own skin. Stop wishing you are someone else!

Our biggest challenge in battle is to conquer our own self first and foremost. Victory over the world is victory over yourself. If you can conquer yourself, every other battle will be a walkover.

Instincts are gut feelings. To survive, you must be daring enough to follow your gut feelings. It may be the most unreasonable thing to do but many times, it is the way to go. We survive mostly by instinct.

Trust God enough to ask Him for a strategy for your battle.

None of us is exonerated from the many battles of life. We are all in the middle of the “Beauty Contest”, fighting for our own crown. Do not envy anybody!

Show up for your own battle, that is 50% victory!

Sometimes it is good to be vulnerable but you must be able to draw the line between vulnerability and stupidity else you may never be alive to tell the story.

You will go through water, you will go through the fire, you will go through dry land. Your resolution to survive is much more important than whatever you may be going through.

“The Rich also cry,” they say and who says the “Poor does not also smile”? The truth is, none of us is Rich, none of us is Poor. Every riches come with its own poverty and every poverty comes with its own riches. The earlier we all realize this, the happier we will be.
