If you want to clip your own wing, look up to others for your flight. Even where you have helped others, do not take it to heart that they owe you anything, this is the only way to be commensurably rewarded by God himself. Expectation, they say is the mother of manifestation but expectation from the wrong direction is the mother of frustration.

We make ourselves bigger debtor when we think others are indebted to us. The less you look up to others, the higher your expectations of yourself, making you more responsible and more dependable on God. An expressway to failure is to hold others responsible for your life. When you realize that nobody owes you anything, you will be free to live unlimitedly. Expectation, from others, sometimes is limitation.

Disappointment from others is mostly blessing in disguise pointing you in the direction of your appointment with yourself. Nothing can so limiting and distracting than thinking that others are meant to be responsible for us. When and if others disappoint you, be mindful not to disappoint yourself because God will never disappoint you. Each time we think others are indebted to us, it makes us loose grip on ourselves.
