Do Your Bits

Everything great is built-in bits. We don’t become great by doing “big things” but by doing “little things” well – Femi Adediran, 2020.

Nothing is too big to accomplish if we will all do our bits – Femi Adediran, 2020.

When we focus so much on what others do or do not do, we will not only lose our focus but also our passion – Femi Adediran,  2020.

When we become “carried away” by others, we eventually “become lost”, confused and “incapacitated’ – Femi Adediran,  2020.

An expressway to become irresponsible is to wait on others to do their bit before we take action – Femi Adediran,  2020.

Nothing is too big to accomplish if we will all do our bits. We are as accomplished as all the smaller bits that fits in. Little drops of water makes the mighty ocean. We “become big” when we do the small bits. Everything great is built in bits. We don’t become great by doing “big things” but by doing “little things” well. When we focus so much on what others do or do not do, we will not only lose our focus but also our passion. Focus on the assignment on your hands and do your own bits.

When we become “carried away” by others, we eventually “become lost”, confused and “incapacitated’. Don’t get carried away by others, find your own bearing. You really don’t have to do everything but to get on to do the little that is “assigned” to you after all, all you can do is all you can do.

• Do Your bits in your group, make the necessary and needed contribution
• Do Your bits as a father, lead at home
• Do Your bits as a parent, consciously train up your children
• Do your bits in the morning, make your bed
• Do Your bits as a child, obey your parents
• Do Your bits in your house, clean your bathroom
• Do your bits as a teacher, teach professionally
• Do Your bits as a medical practitioner, show that you care
• Do Your bits as religious leaders, teach the right moral values
• Do Your bits as a police officer, do the right thing at your duty post
• Do Your bits as a good citizen, do not litter the street
• Do Your own little bits wherever you find yourself. It is the little things you do that makes the “world go round”

When you do your bits, other things will take care of itself. If you will do your bit, we all can beat the game. When we do our bits, the result is a better community. When you do your bits, you become a role model. To become a role model, play your role very well.

Know your bits and then do it. Do Your bits not because of fame or money but for posterity. Do not wait on others to do their bits because they might be waiting on you too. An express way to become irresponsible is to wait on others to do their bit before we take action. If we all will wait for others to do their bits, we  as well forget about achieving or accomplishing anything. Things can only get worse when we don’t do our bits. We have breakdown of “law and order” because someone in the chain did not do his own bit

Our family, our Association and our nation at large would become a lot better if we all do “our own bits” and not worried about who is not doing his own bits. When we add value to others, our own value can only but increase.
